Taking the chill off a coolish, post-thunderstorm, stiff-breeze kind of morning.
Zachary's here to help with some of the cottage projects. What a conscientious worker, and a great companion for his Grandad...especially those heavier jobs where Gramma just can't hack it any more.
And we were just realizing, this is the first time ever, in his 16 long years, that he's been up here on his own with just Gramma and Grandad! Doing the one-on-one thing is so much fun. He even beat me in Scrabble last night!This whole grandparenting deal just keeps evolving and morphing and bringing new ways of being wonderful.
